What is the cost for registration?
The regular registration fee is $99.00 and runs until August 14th.
Late registration is available from August 15th to August 28th. The
late registration fee is $119.00
What is included with my registration fee?
Each participant will receive a YNFL team jersey, flag belts. Each
team will also receive two YNFL footballs.
Are there multichild discounts?
If a family has three or more children registered the following
discounts will apply: The first two children pay full price. The
third child is 50% off, the fourth child plays free of
charge.
What are the age brackets?
For the Spring 2009 season the age brackets are:
5-6 coed
7-8 coed
9-11 coed
12-14 boys
12-14 girls

What time can I expect my child to play?
Saturday morning games begin at 9am, 10am, and 11am. If the
registration numbers are high enough we may have to add an
additional 12:00pm playing time. Generally we try to stick with the
following schedule:, the 9-11 year olds play at 9am. 10am games are
usually a combination of the 7,8 and 5,6 year olds. On some
occassions some of the aforementioned age groups along with the
12-14 year olds will play at 11am. Schedules are ultimately
dictated by field availability. Friday night games begin at 6pm,
7pm, 8pm
How do I determine my child's playing age?
For the Fall 2008 season, we will first look at grade level
followed by age as of Sept 1, 2009.
Who is eligible to play YNFL flag football?
Anyone who is the appropriate age is welcome to play YNFL Flag
Football.
How long are the games?
Games are 50 minutes in duration.
Where are the games played?
Games are played at the Quakertown Sports Complex located off
California Road in Quakertown. Click Field Layout for a diagram of
this seasons field locations
Can I request my child to play with a group of his friends?
Yes. However, the league reserves the right to modify teams in
order to maintain a competitive balance. We will do our best to
accomodate your first request. We will guarantee your first request
provided the request is also requested by the other party. You may
request more than 1 person but we can not make guarantees.
What is the practice schedule?
Practice dates and times are determined by coaches, however,
coaches will be asked to hold only one practice per week. Some
coaches may decide to hold a voluntary practice more than once a
week prior to the season. Once the season begins coaches are asked
to hold no more than one practice per week. Many of the coaches
will conduct their practices on Saturday mornings prior to their
games.
May I request a coach?
Many of the players in previous seasons request to come back and
play for their former coach. Attempts are made to accomodate these
requests provided the coach is actually coaching that particular
season, and the league determines that it does not create an unfair
playing advantage.
Will there be playoffs?
The emphasis in this league is first and foremost Fun, and Equal
Playing Time for all participants. Therefore, to avoid a conflict
with this philosophy there are no playoffs in this league.
Does my child need previous football experience?
No previous football experience is required. The pledge of the
league is that each child will receive equal playing time
regardless of experience.
What are the uniforms required?
The uniform requirement is for the participant to wear his/her team
jersey.
How do I determine my child's Jersey Size? NFL Flag jerseys come in
8 different sizes. See chart below to determine your child's jersey
size. Please note the jerseys run small and YOUTH SIZES should only
be selected for the 5 and 6 year olds

What equipment is required to play?
Cleats are not required but are strongly suggested. Many players
elect to wear shorts, or sweat pants. During cool spring and fall
mornings under armor is also desirable to wear under team jerseys.
Wide receiver gloves are also acceptable for playing.

The league targets a maximum number of 10 to ensure quality playing
